Growing up in family with a history in Real Estate, Karen began a 10-year career in escrow with Founders Title Company.  She was quickly promoted to Branch Manager and specialized in exchanges, subdivisions and commercial transactions.  In a career shift in 1989 Karen created Emerson Financial and was joined by Dan Emerson.  In addition to originating loans, Karen manages and supervises all aspects of the operation of Emerson Financial and its staff.Karen has a love for all things real estate including architecture, design and construction. In her spare time, she is often involved in a construction project somewhere whether its building or remodeling a home, rental units or the children’s library at Baywood Elementary School.

 

When not in the office or at a construction site, she is most likely outdoors, skiing or kayaking or cooking and spending time with her family, especially her two grandchildren.
